Friday we all got a big surprise when customers and advisors alike found out there is a new Thermomix coming. The TM6 will hit the UK in June.
You now have the choice to get a TM5 before they stop being sold in June and for the first time ever, Thermomix have discounted the TM5 by £100.
So what is the difference from the TM5? Unlike the jump from TM31 to the TM5 there’s less of a change but here are some of the differences…

The same 12 functions of the TM5 plus 8 more –

* Kettle
* Blending
* Fermentation
* Sugar Stages (perfect toffee and honeycomb!)
* High Temp (up to 160*C for frying and browning meats)
* Sous-vide
* Slow cook (up to 8 hours)

Cookidoo is integrated in the TM6 – no need to attach a cook-key.
TM6 has memory 16gb v 8gb on cook key
It has 1gb of RAM
The blade is different as it reaches higher temperatures up to 160 degrees
Non rattle lid – reduces volume
Splash guard for going on top and you can use it on TM5
Flexible spatula with hole for hanging up
Simmering basket with lid (works in TM5)
6.8 inch display
Also displays Chinese characters
Swipe left or right to move between options
1g intervals instead of 5g
Kettle feature up to 100 degrees
1-8 hours slow cooking
Sous vide (you can do this with TM5)
Fermentation for yoghurt or prove dough in varoma dish
