Thermomix USA & Canada conference

Thank you so much for inviting me to speak at your conference in Orlando.

There was so much more I could have shared, so I’ve put this post together for you, I hope it can be useful.

Do let me know if you find any of my tips have helped and good luck with you Thermomix journeys!

Please follow me on Instagram & Facebook and let me know how you get on

Equipment

I like to have a few different tripods for different jobs when I’m recording my Thermomix cooking.
This is one I’ve found recently, it’s good for over head filming to see into my Thermomix. This is the UK amazon link and you should be able to find the US one

I also have this one for straight ahead filming on my phone and I take it to conferences and events to use as a selfie stick too.
The links are Amazon UK ones but you’ll then be able to find your US equivalent

Software

I love Canva for creating posts and flyers for my events

I use Zoom for online demos – I use the paid version as you only have 40 minutes per zoom on the free version

I use a few different editing software packages, my kids got me into insult and again I use a paid version. I’ve also used Capcut and Final Cut but my presence is insult (the downsie is that I have to put the footage in iPhoto to import it, so I tend to use it for my iPhone footage and I use CapCut for my video camera footage.

Other equipment

I use my iphone

Sony video camera

I have lapel mics but I don’t tend to use them

I have some fake work tops – a piece of printed vinyl that makes it look like you have different work tops when I’m photographing my dishes
