I’m not an early adopter. I held onto my TM31 for years before finally upgrading to the TM6. And even though the TM7 impressed me straight away, there was still a tiny voice in my head whispering…
“Do I really need it?”
“Is it really that different?”
If you’re reading this, I’m guessing you’ve wondered the same thing. So, after a month with TM7 in my own kitchen, here’s my honest take:
1️⃣ It takes up less space. Bench space at my place is precious. The smaller footprint has been an instant win.
2️⃣ Browning mode = bliss. I never cooked mince in the TM6. But the TM7? Total convert. I toss the mince in, walk away, and it gently browns and breaks it up exactly how I like it. No standing at the stove.
3️⃣ The silence. I knew customers would love it. I didn’t expect me to love it this much. The low-speed hush is amazing and it stops the “MUM I CAN’T HEAR THE TV”, which is definitely worth every cent.
4️⃣ Remote control. If I had a dollar for every time I was putting a kid to sleep while the Thermomix® chimed at me… well, I’d be emailing you from my beach house. Being able to silence it from my phone is a tiny, daily joy.
So yes. The TM7 really is a step up. Not just in the big, shiny ways, but in the small, thoughtful ones that make real life easier.
