So what is a Thermomix?
What is Thermomix? Thermomix, or Bimby as it’s known in Portugal and Italy, is a cooking appliance which replaces around 23 appliances. You can make everything from cake to curry, cocktails to bread and baby food.
Our current model is the TM7 and the only one we now sell.
Thermomix was launched in 1971 and started as a heated blender – now it is so much more. Thermomix chops, kneads, grinds, steams and stirs – with in-built scales you just add your ingredients and let it do the rest. There are guided recipes on the screen, meaning everyone can cook incredible meals whether you are a chef, home cook or ‘can’t cook’. Lacking inspiration? Let Cookidoo, the online recipe platform, suggest some recipes, plan out your week and even send the ingredients to your online shopping basket.

What's included with your Thermomix?
The TM7 has just been announced so you currently have the choice between the TM6 with a bundle of accessories & the TM7 on pre-order.
As standard the Thermomix TM6 comes with the same as the TM7 but also a splash guard (the TM7 lid has been re-designed to not need this).
Your Thermomix TM7 comes complete with everything you need, including:
VAROMA (for steaming – this has two trays)
SIMMERING BASKET (used to cook rice, potatoes, can be used as a strainer, sits inside the ‘bowl’)
BUTTERFLY WHISK (used for whipping up meringues, sorbet, ice cream etc)
BOWL (this is what you call the jug type bowl that you see with the handle)
LID CAP (this sits in the lid to stop splashes and is removed when using the Varoma)
THERMOMIX SPATULA (really clever design – I’ll show you at your demo)

You can search over 100000 recipes online, on your app or you can even search on the Thermomix TM6 or TM7 screen itself. Plan out your week and even add to your online shopping order – we currently link up to Amazon Fresh, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Ocado and Tesco. Making planning your meals that little bit easier.

What are the accessories that come with Thermomix made of?
None of the materials in the Thermomix® TM5, TM6 and TM7 that come into contact with food contain plasticizers, bisphenol A (BPA) or bisphenol S (BPS).
Vorwerk say ‘Producing the Thermomix® TM7 we ensure the best quality materials. The housing of the Thermomix® TM7 is composed of high-quality plastic. Mixing bowl and knife are made of high-quality stainless steel.
All materials that come into contact with food are carefully selected and comply with current legal regulations. Chemical-analytical tests are regularly carried out by independent institutes and changes in legal regulations and new developments in material science are closely monitored so that we can react directly to new scientific findings and optimize the performance of the Thermomix® by modifying the materials if necessary.
None of the materials in the Thermomix® TM7 that come into contact with food contain plasticizers, bisphenol A (BPA) or bisphenol S (BPS).’
The new Thermomix® TM7 mixing bowl has a maximum capacity of 2.2 liters to allow all your favorite recipes of Thermomix® TM5 and TM6 to be fully compatible.
Varoma® has been redesigned to provide 45% more steaming capacity compared to TM6. The total capacity of the Thermomix® TM7 Varoma® set (with the tray) is 6.8 liters.
With a sleek and modern design, it stands 33.6 cm high, 25,3 cm wide, and 40.5 cm deep, making it compact enough to fit seamlessly into any kitchen. Weighing 8.6 kg, the Thermomix® TM7 is sturdy yet easy to move when needed.
