One thing really worth doing is attending a free Thermomix class in your area. Each branch offers free classes and you can also find private classes run by advisors, bloggers and Thermomix enthusiasts.  Click on the names of the dishes below for a link through to the recipes on Cookidoo.

I went to a class at Thermomix head office last week as I’ve been dying to see what the head office looks like and I love cooking classes! The Ascot team were brilliant and I hadn’t tried any of the recipes myself, so I came away with lots of inspiration and there were a few tasters of recipes the advisors had pre-made too.

My favourite from the morning was the Apple Cake from the Basic Cook Book. So easy to chuck together and you can do with tinned pears (drained) as a ‘store cupboard’ alternative.

The sticky toffee pudding was cooked in little ramekins and covered in toffee sauce.  A perfect winter desert and if you’re looking for ways your Thermomix can save you money, one of these would set you back £5-8 in a pub and you can make 6-8 portions in your Thermomix for pennies.  Not one for the healthy eating list though!

We saw and tasted lots of recipes including… Butternut Squash & Coconut soup, Custard,

The Apple Crumble Cake was there as a taster, this is what it looked like… one of the ladies I met went home and cooked it that night!

The links to classes are in my demos page, there may be others but these are what I have found.. http://mythermomixadventures.com/demonstrations/
